6 tips for pregnant mothers!

Pregnancy is an incredible journey that you are (or will be) privileged to experience. It changes your body, your emotions and your life. We would like to share some tips that can help you feel good throughout this wonderful period.

Eat five or six meals a day

Several balanced meals every day will keep you feeling full without the discomfort of a large meal.

Take a daily prenatal vitamin

It is important that you and baby get the right supplements to stay healthy and ensure your child develops normally. Always follow your obstetrician’s recommendations.

Drink plenty of fluids

At least 8 to 10 glasses a day – and stay away from caffeine, alcohol and drinks containing artificial coloring.

Get plenty of sleep

At least eight hours a night. If you are having trouble getting high-quality sleep, try taking a few naps throughout the day to compensate.

Exercise

Take a pregnancy exercise class or walk at least 15 to 20 minutes every day, at a moderate pace. Avoid high-risk activities such as horseback riding, basketball, soccer and scuba diving.

Maintain healthy circulation
